Which just goes to show you that it’s not that thing you ate… it’s what you do overall that counts…

So yeah… I was off at a work conference in DisneyWorld of all places… Probably not considered a dieters hot spot, but I did my best.  Breakfast and lunch were provided and I was actually very careful with those.  I generally ate a boiled egg, 80-calorie yogurt and a piece of fruit for breakfast and the sandwich, chips and fruit for lunch, but no dessert (cookies or brownie)and no chips if it was a two-piece of bread/non-whole grain sort of sandwich.  Dinners were generally good… except… you know that one night at the Irish Pub when aside from a delicious Strip steak and trimmings I was finally able to try the third arm of the Holy Trinity (Powers).  Yum!

The resort did have a well-stocked gym, and I used it every day except Sunday.  The attendants were a bit freaked out by the corpulent gentleman using the equipment, but I can’t be bothered with that sort of thing.

Interestingly, when I powered on my heart rate monitor at the gym last night, instead of booting up, it just showed me the firmware version and some diagnostic functions.  I was able to restart it and exercise as per normal, but when I got home, no data was saved to the device.  Weird.  It also keeps crashing windows which is a bit of a drag…

Here’s hoping that it behaves itself today…
