I like it!  I think it works to describe the trip from skinny to fat and then the fall away from fat back to skinny.  Now all I have to do is actually lose the weight, develop a philosophy to attribute it to and get started on that book tour!  I assure you that once I do go to a convention as a comic artist (rather than con organizer) that I will be buying an orange t-shirt and green shorts.  Probably not the wings though… that would be weird!

Jesu Christe! It was hot and muggy today.  No real food challenges today other than being wicked hungry most of the time.  The big trauma of the day was when my belt buckle gave way and left me without a belt half-way through the work day.  I’m not sure why the buckle gave way as I was way, way, way overdue to drill a few new holes and there was no tension on the belt to speak of…  in fact, I had assumed the belt had taken on a mostly decorative status… that is until I had to spend the afternoon holding my dang pants up (including one very near miss in meijers and gravity took the pants while I was reaching for a gallon of milk… it was okay though… the milk jug hit the floor, not my trousers!).  I guess I need to go pants and belt shopping on payday.  Oh bother…

Considering how rapidly my waistline seems to be shrinking, you’d think I’d be able to see it looking in the mirror, but I really don’t.  I may have to start taking pictures just so that I have a before and after to consider.

Let’s run the numbers, shall we?

Food Intake:

  • Breakfast – Danon Banana yogurt – 150 calories
  • Lunch – Zoup!  Pepper Steak soup and half greek salad – 462 calories
  • Afternoon snack – five cashews – 50 calories
  • After Afternoon snack – Baby Bel cheddar – 75 calories
  • Dinner – Roast Chicken, wasabi potatoes and salad – 700 calories
  • Evening snack – fudgsicle – 100 calories

1697 calories total.  Not bad.  Think I’ll get started on that book now…
