So yeah… things started to go bad at about 5pm on Friday… that’s when I let a week of feeling ravenous take over the show… and that lasted through Saturday.  It wasn’t good.  I don’t know what the deal was last week.  I was just… craving… cheesy, fatty, meaty foods.  All week long.  I let it pass all week but Friday… I just gave in.

That evening, I had a calzone and chicken wings with caramel cookie bars for dessert.  Saturday, I had a fajita lunch (with chips appetizer) and coke.  Dinner was six chicken wings and an order of fried pickles… later a large Heath blizzard as a snack.

Just bad…  I’ll have to do better in the future.

Sunday, I managed to get my stuff together and climbed back on the horse.  No permanent damage done… except maybe to my pride.  So, let’s run the numbers.

Food Intake:

  • Breakfast – Granola Bar – 160 calories
  • Lunch – Grilled chicken sandwich and a salad – 500 calories
  • Dinner – IHop Simple Fit 2x2x2 – 475 calories
  • Evening snack – Fudgsicle – 100 calories
  • Evening snack two (Avocado Buggaloo) – Wheat Thins and Guacamole – 260 calories

1495 calories which is well short of the 2000, but I honestly couldn’t have eaten any more feeling quite bloated from the previous 36 hours.  The gnawing cravings seem to have departed, but they will return, and I will have to better prepare for dealing with them.

As a was feeling bloated, Laurie and I headed down town and walked around for a few hours.  It was nice, and I am feeling much better.
