I know what you’re thinking… how many times can you possibly get excited over what is, in reality, an on-going, incremental weight-loss.  Well, quite a few times, as it happens.  I’m doing my best to stay motivated/excited about every little change.  As I have about 200 more pounds to lose (I know, right?!?), I figure that at an average rate of 2 pounds per week, I’ll get excited about 100 more times.

So, you have that to look forward to…

Semi-relaxing weekend.  Lots of errands, but nothing too out of the ordinary.  Got a very late start on Sunday, so breakfast was in a not-so-much manner.  That being the case, let’s run the numbers…

Food Intake:

  • Breakfast – skipped – 0 calories
  • Lunch – Logans Steak and Lobster – 1000 calories
  • Dinner – Stuffed salmon and salad – 700 calories
  • Evening snack  – Chocolate banana – 300 calories

2000 calories total.  Which is target, but it’s with a few caveats…

Lunch was a 6 oz sirloin (as opposed to the usual 14 oz ribeye) with a split main lobster tail.  I kept the sides in the veggie category and only dipped the lobster once.  With water as the beverage, I calculated the calories at 800, so with the vagaries of restaurant prep, I’m calling it 1000.  Dinner was good.  Lettuce and fresh veggies from the garden.  The chocolate banana – more ice, less kahlua, but it worked.
