Please think of the use of the name ‘Dummy’ as not using my brother’s actual name in a comic as opposed to an actual IQ judgement.  Those who know the family know which one, and those who don’t can just assume it’s the one that is skinnier than me (oh wait… they all are).  This is not to say I’ve never referred to a brother as ‘Dummy’.  It’s a fairly interchangeable term of endearment whose likelihood of being brought out is directly proportional to the amount of stress I detect in my mother’s voice.  ‘Nuff said.

There is very little certain in this life, but if I was certain of anything, it’s that if one of the Adams boys came down with heart trouble it would be me.  Seemed like a no-brainer, so when you get news like that it can be hard to properly process.  The *fat* guy has heart trouble.  The strong, active guy does not.  That’s the way life is supposed to work, right?  Apparently not.

It does beg the question, though.  If *he* is having heart trouble, if he is suffering blockages, what on God’s green earth is going on in my arteries.  Gravy blood is hardly conducive to heart health.  I did have a stress test when I started the Med Fit program, though, with no indication of bad things, so… who knows… something to think about…

Food Intake:

  • Breakfast – Wallaby Down Under Chocolate Yogurt – 170 calories
  • Lunch – salami and provolone – 315 calories
  • Dinner – Stir Fry… let’s call it 800 calories… probably way less, but I forgot to weigh the meat going in.  (Bok Choy, chicken, leftover lean ham, bell peppers, leeks, mushrooms and garlic)

1285 calories… uhm… it’s early yet… I think maybe I should squeeze in some wheat thins or something… Can you believe I forgot to pick up bananas again?!?  I really wanted to make a smoothie for breakfast.  Frick!

Exercise:

Today I had my last PT.  The insurance says I’m healed.  Just as well, I haven’t made any real improvement in a while, and I think I was just a stress relief for the therapist (oh good, I can hurt him!  These other patients are too fragile.)  I have my exercises for ongoing therapy.  I also did 30 minutes of cardio on the bike plus 20 minutes of general cals.  I’ll be adding weights back in soon.
